Make room for connection

Planning a Public Conference
or Company Event?

Conference attendees standing and joining an audience activity

Public conferences

Give them a reason
to come back.

You’ve booked the speakers and filled the agenda. But if attendees spend every break with the people they already know—or struggle to meet anyone new—what will bring them back?

Across the industry, only 30–35% of attendees return year over year. Give people a connection they’ll want to continue.

Company events

Help your people
feel like a team.

Everyone showed up. Yet departments still sit together, the room goes quiet, and the “fun” feels like another item on the agenda.

Bahaa creates shared experiences that help colleagues talk beyond their siloed circles and connect with the purpose of your gathering.

For company summits, all-hands, and internal conferences.

The Bahaa approach

How Do You Create
Real Connection
in Your Conference?

Connect early.
Connect often.

People come for the content, but they come back because of the connections they made.

61% of attendees go to professional events primarily to network. Booking.com for Business

The Bahaa Approach focuses on engagement and retention: make it easy to join in early, then keep creating opportunities to connect throughout the day.

We’ll start with your theme, your audience, and how you want people to feel. Then we’ll design the moments that bring your room together.

“I model vulnerability first.”

What Type of Engagement
Does Your Conference Need?

One well-placed energizer or a whole day woven together. We’ll find the format that fits your conference.

01

Icebreakers & energizers

10–15 MINUTES · OPENING OR AFTER LUNCH

Move your audience from watching to participating. Short, facilitated experiences help people loosen up, meet someone new, and settle into the event together.

Plan your energizer
  • Opening icebreakers that set the tone (10–15 min)
  • Post-lunch energy resets (10–15 min)
  • Designed around your conference theme
02

Conference emcee

FULL-DAY & MULTI-DAY EXPERIENCES

Give your conference a consistent voice and a host who keeps your people involved. Bahaa connects the opening, transitions, and closing to the reason everyone gathered.

Talk through your agenda
  • A theme that carries through the day
  • Engaging transitions between speakers
  • Shared reflection and connection moments
  • Optional add-ons: facilitated breakouts and team workshops
03

Flash mob experiences

PROFESSIONAL DANCERS OR YOUR OWN TEAM

Create a surprise people can be part of. Bring professional dancers into the audience, or let your staff learn and perform a routine together.

Design a standout moment
  • Professional or staff-led formats
  • Video tutorials & instructor-led rehearsals for your team
  • A performance planned around your event

What I enjoyed most was how he effortlessly got the entire room standing up and moving together—without a trace of embarrassment or self-consciousness.

The person behind the energy

A room where
everyone belongs.

“I grew up feeling lonely. I didn’t have a community and didn’t know where I belonged. That pain became my purpose: I never want anyone to feel that way.”

Bahaa began designing public events to bring people together. He learned that being in the same room is only the beginning. People need a way into the conversation.

Today, he brings that care to conferences and teams, creating shared moments that make it easier to join in.

More connected. Less lonely. That’s the mission.

Easy to plan. Thoughtfully delivered.

Here’s How We Work:
3 Easy Steps.

Start with a conversation about your event. We’ll work out where connection can make the biggest difference.

01

Talk through your event.

On a 20-minute strategy call, share your audience, theme, and goals. We’ll explore the right fit.

02

Shape the experience.

Bahaa designs the moments around your agenda. You’re involved in the plan, with clear alignment before event day.

03

Bring the room together.

Bahaa leads the experience. An optional post-event debrief helps you build on what worked.

A few things you may be wondering

Before we
take the stage.

Will this feel like forced fun?

Bahaa models vulnerability first and designs the experience for the audience in front of him. The aim is to make joining in feel comfortable. Collyn B., an attendee, described the room moving together “without a trace of embarrassment or self-consciousness.”

Can you fit into our existing agenda?

Yes. The core icebreaker or energizer is 10–15 minutes and can sit before the first keynote or after lunch. Full-day emcee support and connection breakouts are also available. We’ll discuss the timing together.

Is this right for a company conference?

Yes. For internal events, the focus is on helping employees connect across departments and feel part of the company’s purpose. For public conferences, it’s on audience participation and meaningful attendee connections.

What size audience do you work with?

Bahaa has more than 10 years of experience facilitating groups of 10–5,000 people. Share your expected attendance and room setup so the experience can be designed to fit.

What does it cost?

The scope depends on your format, schedule, and the experiences you want to include. Start with an inquiry to discuss your event and get a recommendation.
